Job Overview
Accounts Payable Accountant
Receiving and verifying invoices and requisitions for goods and services.
Processing invoices for payment, including coding expenses to appropriate accounts.
Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
Maintaining accounts payable ledger by posting account transactions.
Accounts Receivable Accountant
Reconciling accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Recording cash receipts and handling bank deposits.
Monitoring customer accounts for overdue payments and contacting customers regarding outstanding balances.
Working with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve customer inquiries and disputes.
